Currently, Grain Story Bakery is operated by one person only. The bread and pastry menu is served to whoever comes first. Pre-order ensures that the baker saves your item a side for your pick-up. This helps the baker to predict and produce enough breads and pastries for the market.

You can pre-order at the Staunton Farmers Market for the following Saturday for pick-up.
This ensures the bakery could pay their bakers! This allows financial security for the bakery and has less waste on the product. This helps us just make enough bread.
All transactions will be accepted at the Staunton Farmers Market “ONLY.” Grain Story Bakery accepts cash, venmo, or token. Cash and venmo is only available for pastries. “All sales are final, so please carefully review your order before confirming.”
Bread or pastries won’t be there if you don’t make it on the pick up window. You are responsible to be there to pick up your items. If you can’t make it then ask someone else to pick it up for you.
IMPORTANT TO READ: We try our best to bring your bread and serve the community. But things happen such as electricity going out, hurricanes, floods, snow, etc. If the situation is really bad then we won’t be able to deliver bread and the money “IS NOT REFUNDABLE.”
Currently, the breadshare program is open in Staunton. Please be respectful. All products are made with care and the money goes to support the baker.
